Bookings
By booking a tour with Mark's Melbourne Private Tours, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Guest Numbers
Tour prices are based on the number of guests confirmed at the time of booking.
If the number of guests changes before the tour date, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate the change; however, a revised tour price may apply depending on the final group size and vehicle requirements.
Mark's Melbourne Private Tours reserves the right to adjust pricing where guest numbers increase or decrease after a booking has been confirmed.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. Refunds will be provided according to the amount of notice given before the scheduled tour date:
7 or more days before the tour date: Full refund of the tour price.
4–6 days before the tour date: 50% refund of the tour price.
3 days or less before the tour date: No refund. The full tour price applies.
Where third-party bookings have been made on your behalf, including accommodation, attraction tickets, ferry tickets, train tickets, Puffing Billy or Penguin tickets or other services, additional cancellation fees imposed by those providers may apply.
Changes to Bookings
We will do our best to accommodate changes to your booking. However, changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
Tour Itineraries
Tour itineraries are provided as a guide only. Routes, attractions and timings may vary due to weather conditions, road closures, traffic, operational requirements or circumstances beyond our control.
Mark's Melbourne Private Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries where necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.
Tour Cancellations
Mark's Melbourne Private Tours reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify a tour due to extreme weather, road closures, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a tour is cancelled by Mark's Melbourne Private Tours and an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed, a full refund will be provided.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the booking. Currency exchange estimations may vary slightly due to currency fluctuations.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are fit and able to participate in the tour booked.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellations, delays, medical expenses, personal belongings and other unforeseen circumstances.
Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable care is taken to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in tours is at the guest's own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mark's Melbourne Private Tours is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, expense or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
We have full Public Liability Insurance to 20 million dollars.
We are a registered and Licensed Victorian Parks Tour Opeartor.
Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Mark's Melbourne Private Tours accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Photography
During tours, photographs may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please advise your guide at the commencement of the tour.
