Our history
When Lorenzo Gagiero arrived in Melbourne in 1854 — one of the first Italians to land on Australian shores from Piedmont in the north of Italy— he brought with him a strong tradition of warmth and hospitality.
More than 170 years later, his great-great-grandson Mark Gagiero heads a small, passionate team of guides doing something remarkably similar: welcoming visitors from around the world and showing them the Melbourne and surrounds that locals treasure.
Since 2016, Mark and his team have specialised in completely private, bespoke tours — no shared coaches, no strangers, and no fixed itineraries. Every tour is shaped around the guests: their pace, their interests and their must-see experiences.
